Furthermore, when it comes to bridging multiply genres Z-Time truly shines, with so many sub-genres represented beyond the obvious sci-fi / horror hybrid effect created by including the aliens, it truly is mind blowing the talented of those who contributed. All of the included stories are equally enthralling and feature art styles that perfectly capture each of the time-periods, a detail that sold me early on, after I noticed the styles were shifting so fluidly with each era change. Between the tremendous writing and jaw dropping artwork, Z-Time, is necessary purchase.

I highly recommend this graphic novel to any fans of anthologies, horror, or the ever-growing zombie subculture. For those of you looking for some Halloween reading to get into the spirit, I assure you that after you turn the final page of Z-Time, you will be more than ready for a night of ghoulish celebrating.

Z-TIME BAJO EL SELLO DE MARKOSIA

Pues el trabajo colectivo realizado con la antología zombi en Z-Time se podrá leer bajo el sello de la editorial Markosia, que ya ha hecho un pequeño avance con las novedades que lanzarán el próximo año, y entre dichas novedades se encuentra precisamente Z-Time. Markosia es una editorial británica que lleva funcionando desde el 2005, y que ha publicado tebeos de King Kong o Starship Troopers entre lo más conocido, y entre lo menos cosas como Eleventh Hour que fue nominado en los Premios Eagle al mejor cómic en B/N británico del 2008.

Esto quiere decir que la pequeña historia que os mostré por aquí hace tiempo, Zombi War I, con dibujo del amigo Roberto Corral y color de Juan Aragón, se podrá leer junto con las demás en inglés, lo cual no es una novedad porque ya se podía descargar el ebook en varias webs como expliqué a primeros de año. Lo que sí es novedad es que el lanzamiento de Markosia es en papel, y solo por eso espero que alguna copia nos caiga aunque sea de rebote.

Aquí debajo os dejo con la excelente portada de Javier Quijano, que si os dais cuenta lleva un logo distinto al de las otras versiones, y es que éste lo hizo en su día el gran Juan Alarcón, y aunque finalmente no se llego a usar en su momento me alegro mucho que ahora sí salga así.
