Miguel was a young journalism student and member of the student union during the military dictatorship of the 1970s.
Due to his active participation in the mobilizations and political militancy, he is kidnapped along with a dozen of his companions.
The story begins in the facilities of the clandestine detention center La Perla, in 1978.
Tortured by his captors, Miguel dies in one of the sessions in charge of the "turk" (Jorge in civilian clothes) and his collaborators.
5 years later, in full democracy, the prosecution of the military junta begins.
"The Turk" already a fugitive from the law, takes refuge in a seedy tavern in the suburbs, waiting for the contact of his former comrades-in-arms to bring him the adulterated documentation to escape the country.
The torturer, harassed by his memories and submerged in a deep addiction to alcohol and with a life ruined by the abuse and abandonment of his family, waits for his time to escape.
The specters of the past return and Miguel among them to remind him of what he did and is still not condemned.
